About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team at Deliveroo. As a key member of our Enterprise Technology team, you will be responsible for establishing and proactively developing strategy, enterprise architecture, and roadmaps across our business products. This role requires a strong understanding of modern, practical enterprise architecture and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop consultative relationships and demonstrate thought leadership to provide guidance and become a trusted advisor to decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
  • Establish and foster visible architectural principles and practices to build reusable designs and systems that promote reliability, velocity, scale, security, and efficiency.
  • Engage in, investigate, and mature approaches to sustainably scale the end-to-end lifecycle of Enterprise Technology services.
  • Ensure principles of software and vendor rationalization are consistently applied.
  • Deliver value early and often.

Requirements

  • A business-focused strategic, though visibly impactful, architectural background rather than solely solution engineering.
  • Successful experience in initiating and driving technology change and processes from scratch with the ability to delve into detail when required.
  • Familiarity with the processes of common business domains such as Finance, Legal, HR functions.
  • Confident in effective stakeholder management and dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
