About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to join our team at 5S Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimising production processes and continuously improving the factory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processes and optimise machine cycle times to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Carry out tool changeovers to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Perform basic mechanical fault finding to identify and resolve issues.
  • Use a forklift to transport material to our 19 presses, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
  • Communicate shift priorities and numbers in handover documents to ensure seamless communication.
  • Manage the tidiness of our tooling racks and masterbatch areas to maintain a safe and organised work environment.
  • Continuously look for equipment, software, and process improvement opportunities to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Follow onsite safety requirements and assist others in maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Previous injection moulding experience is essential for this role.
  • A 'slow down, to speed up' mindset is crucial for identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience working with various moulding machines, robots, sprue pickers, and granulators is required.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude are essential for success in this role.
  • Enthusiasm about making suggestions and contributing to continuous improvement is a must.
