About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Dundee. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and their customers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. You will also ensure that toilets, kitchens, and common areas are clean and well-stocked with supplies, report any maintenance issues to the supervisor in a timely manner, and comply with health and safety regulations at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Tasks: Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
  • Toilet, Kitchen, and Common Area Maintenance: Ensure that toilets, kitchens, and common areas are clean and well-stocked with supplies, including soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and other essential items.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor in a timely manner, ensuring that any defects or problems are promptly addressed.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with health and safety regulations at all times, wearing personal protective equipment as required and following established protocols for hazardous materials handling.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous Cleaning Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities management role is preferred but not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is necessary to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility regarding working hours is essential for meeting the demands of this role.
