Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Harold Wood. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work with children with special educational needs and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.

About the Role:

This is a 1:1 role, supporting a child with a diagnosis of Autism. The successful candidate will work closely with the child, their family, and the school's specialist support staff to ensure the child's needs are met and their learning is supported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work 1:1 with the child, supporting their learning and development
  • Collaborate with the child's family and the school's specialist support staff to ensure the child's needs are met
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the child's communication needs
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for the child
