About the Role

We are currently recruiting an Autism Support Practitioner to join our team at Sugarman Health & Wellbeing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to a female service user who requires assistance with daily living tasks, promoting her independence and dignity.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £13.50 per hour, with enhanced hourly rate on all Bank Holidays. You will also receive a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and training.

About the Service User
Our service user is a non-verbal individual with autism, who displays behaviours that challenge and signs of anxiety and distress. She has a good sense of humour and enjoys company. Your role will involve supporting her with maintaining her home, promoting independence, and accompanying her to health appointments.

Your Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities. Knowledge of positive behaviour support, LD, and autism would be an advantage, but all training will be given. You will also need to be willing to learn and adapt to the service user's needs, as well as being flexible and able to work varying shifts.
