**Job Opportunity: Time Served Service Technician**

We are seeking a skilled Time Served Service Technician to join our team at J & S Montgomery Ltd. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing agricultural equipment, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake servicing and maintenance on agricultural machinery, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete pre-delivery setup on new and used equipment, ensuring it is ready for customer use.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Assist the farmsight department with diagnostics and repairs on John Deere AMS equipment.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize standard computer applications and internet functions to access technical information and communicate with colleagues.
  • Hold a full driver's license, enabling you to travel to customer sites and transport equipment.
  • Work on a range of lawncare equipment throughout the year, staying up-to-date with the latest models and technologies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing support, ensuring you remain at the forefront of industry knowledge and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Time served experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of agricultural equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Full driver's license and a clean driving record.
