Salary: ££55,000 - £70,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Silverstone. As a key member of the Safety Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all visitors, staff, contractors, and participants across the venue.

Job Description: The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring Silverstone meets its legal and safety obligations across various departments, including Catering, Venue, Driving Experiences, Corporate Events, Public Events, Construction Projects, Escapade, Karting Track, and other projects as required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies to minimize risks and hazards
  • Conduct regular safety audits and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety performance and metrics

Requirements:

  • Qualified in Occupational Health and Safety (Masters, BSC, NEBOSH, CMIOSH, NVQ4) and certified membership of IOSH or equivalent
  • Conversant with COSHH, RIDDOR, DSE, DDA, and PPE Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in executing Construction, Design, and Management Regulations (2015)
  • Relevant Health and Safety experience within a large-scale venue, events, and leisure environment is desirable
