Complex Care Paediatric Nurse Opportunity

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our service users, including a young boy who requires a dedicated nursing team to support him with his complex care needs on a 1:1 basis.

About the Role

As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Accompanying our service user to school and providing personal care and clinical care needs
  • Supporting our service user's developmental growth and engaging in activities such as watching Disney films and playing with toys
  • Interpreting our service user's non-verbal communication to prevent frustration or upset
  • Providing oral suctioning, chest physiotherapy, nebuliser care, and seizure management
  • Working with our team to provide a high-quality care service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current NMC Pin and at least 12 months of experience as a Paediatric Registered Nurse
  • Experience with oral suctioning, chest physiotherapy, nebuliser care, and seizure management
  • Ability to interpret non-verbal communication and work with a young service user with complex care needs
