Job Title: Blockchain Investigator

Crypto.com is seeking a skilled Blockchain Investigator to join our Compliance Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex investigations into cases referred as part of our escalation process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct proactive blockchain-based investigations to identify and mitigate financial crime risk.
  • Produce detailed reports and briefs on a range of issues, synthesizing data from various sources.
  • Provide training and support to other analysts on the U.S. Financial Crimes Team.
  • Maintain proficiency in all aspects of BSA/AML compliance and attend training as assigned by the Compliance Officer.
Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in blockchain-based investigations, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Nuanced understanding of blockchain technology and BSA/AML regulations.
  • Experience conducting complex investigations involving multiple sources of data.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in blockchain and AML.
  • Experience conducting open source research/OSINT and familiarity with threat actor modus operandi in the cryptocurrency space.
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
