About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Senior Practitioner to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Recovery and Rehabilitation Service, you will play a vital role in improving the psychological health and wellbeing of individuals with complex psychosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a defined caseload of clients with complex mental health difficulties, providing expert assessment and treatment.
  • Contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision and participating in team and service development.
  • Deliver evidence-based recovery-focused interventions, employing a strengths-based approach and person-centred care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the care of individuals, utilising specialist skills and knowledge in substance misuse.
Requirements
  • Extensive post-registration experience in mental health, with a focus on complex casework.
  • Substantial experience of managing a busy caseload and clinically supervising junior staff.
  • A professional mental health qualification, such as RMN or Social Work Degree, with evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
