Key Responsibilities- Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across various subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and more.
- Provide targeted intervention and support to individuals and small groups of students to address specific learning needs and accelerate progress.
- Lead and manage learning activities under the direction of the class teacher, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the planning, preparation, and assessment of teaching and learning activities, including the development of resources and materials.
- Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies and support students in developing positive attitudes towards learning.
- Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers to promote a collaborative approach to education and support.
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
- Knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and educational strategies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and equality in education.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and relevant safeguarding training.
