Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Southall

Salary: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our collections team based out of the Southall Lane Depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting waste and recycling across the London Borough of Hounslow.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting a variety of waste streams, including dry recyclables, refuse, garden waste, food waste, and bulky waste from residents and businesses.
  • Driving the waste collections vehicle to the approved tip or refuse disposal location and discharging the load as directed.
  • Ensuring all allocated works are completed within planned timescales and reporting non-collections using the in-cab system.
  • Carefully loading materials into vehicles and clearing spillages made during operations.
  • Returning all containers neatly to the curtilage of the property.

Requirements:

  • Class 2 HGV Licence
  • CPC Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
