Lead Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated lead teacher to join our team at Chaucer Infant's. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading teaching and learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to raise standards across the EYFS phase
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our curriculum, including the EYFS framework
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues to support their professional development

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of leading teaching and learning in the EYFS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to reflect on and develop own practice and that of others
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
