Operations Support Night Shift

At Goldstar, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Support Night Shift professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule all transport activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and track the movement of goods and vehicles to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate transport records and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Liaise with drivers and other staff to ensure smooth transport operations and resolve any freight issues that may arise.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team, including preparing reports, answering customer inquiries, and managing the office.
  • Plan and implement transportation schedules and routes to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to transportation services in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in managing operations would be an asset.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other staff.
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
