Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
- Work closely with the Home Manager and ancillary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans and risk assessments to ensure successful care delivery.
- Two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant with an NVQ 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care or three years' experience without an NVQ.
- Experience in a nursing or care home or as a home care worker.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Knowledge and practice of working with people suffering from dementia is desirable.
- Previous experience prompting or administering medication using an electronic e-MAR system is desirable.
- 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
