Head of Mathematical Modelling

GSK's Department of Clinical Pharmacology Modelling and Simulation is seeking an experienced Head of Mathematical Modelling to lead our mathematical modelling efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for building and integrating mechanistic mathematical models and disease platforms with advanced analytical techniques to support our rapidly expanding portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of implementation of MIDD approaches to accelerate patient access to novel therapies and a deep understanding of mathematical modelling and simulation (QSP, PKPD, etc.). They will present strategy and defend outcome of model-based approaches to internal governance boards and regulatory agencies.
- Learn and apply emerging modelling and simulation methodologies to enhance clinical program efficiency and investment decision quality.
- Promote Model-Informed Drug Discovery and Development (MID3) through external presentations at international conferences and publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately $160,000 - $220,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
