We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team at London Victoria Animal Hospital. As a key member of our night team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our hospital provides a 24/7 service to our furry friends.
Working 7 consecutive nights followed by 14 nights off, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced environment. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and our team is passionate about delivering excellent veterinary care to a wide range of small animals.
As a Veterinary Nurse with Blue Cross, you will be part of a compassionate and inclusive team that values diversity and promotes a positive work-life balance. We offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, life assurance, and access to an employee assistance programme.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, be adaptable, and able to work independently as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about animal welfare and shares our commitment to providing compassionate care. If you are a motivated and dedicated individual who is looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
- Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience of a high level of medical and surgical nursing care
- Adhering to RCVS code of professional conduct
- Complying with Blue Cross Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
- Following Blue Cross Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to demonstrate, understanding and apply our Blue Cross values
Blue Cross is a national charity that has been helping sick, injured, and homeless pets since 1897. We provide veterinary care, expert behaviour advice, and find homeless pets loving families. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion means that we value all our relationships and work in an open and positive culture where we celebrate our diverse talents and empower you to be you.
We are working hard to reflect the world we live in and the communities we serve at every level of our organisation. As much as we have made positive advances, we consider diversity and inclusion to be a work in progress – a continual commitment that remains a priority for all of us.
