Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing command and control architectures. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver innovative solutions for the next generation of air defence systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop command and control architectures.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with requirement authorities to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Maintain momentum during development and adapt to new tools and techniques.

Skillset/Experience Required:

  • A strong background in software engineering and its realisation.
  • Extensive experience in C++ and other languages such as Ada and QT.
  • Knowledge of DDS middleware, Real Time Operating Systems, and standards like DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, or IEC61508.
  • Effective documentation skills and experience across the entire software development process.

Salary and Benefits:

Estimated Salary: £65,000 per annum (£31.25 per hour)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
