As a Financial Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success within a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a portfolio of clients by providing exceptional financial management services.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll tax legislation and reporting requirements, offering expert advice to clients on changes and their potential impact.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by reviewing and acting upon client feedback, serving as the primary point of escalation when necessary.
  • Owning and driving the client journey to ensure exceptional service quality.
  • Conduct manual calculations of payroll taxes and NI when required.
  • Manage various pension schemes to provide comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of payroll team members, while offering coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance.
  • Coordinate workload distribution and enforce deadlines to meet operational goals.
  • Perform performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to boost team performance.
Salary:

£45,000 per annum

Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience in delivering fully managed payroll services is essential.
  • A proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for building positive customer relationships.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, taxes, and PAYE procedures.
  • Proficient in identifying potential payroll discrepancies and addressing them proactively.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with software implementation.
