As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing security systems in your assigned area, responding to service calls, and providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Maintain and repair security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
  • Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area, ensuring that all customers receive a high level of service.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, including regular updates and notifications.
  • Maintain stock levels with support from the Stores team, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Attend training sessions as required, to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Attend Engineering team meetings as required, to discuss ongoing projects and share knowledge.
  • Identify personal training and development needs, to ensure that you are providing the best possible customer service.

**Systems Used**

  • Intruder alarms: Galaxy, Texecom, Aritech
  • CCTV systems: Hikvision, Axis, and generic analogue systems
  • Access control systems: Paxton, BPT, ACT

**Requirements**

  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, including door-to-door travel.
  • Valid driving license and ability to use a company vehicle.
