The Role: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects around the UK, serving as the primary point of contact internally and externally. They will focus on ensuring effective communication is maintained with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Producing and maintaining accurate records of work undertaken and maintaining up-to-date and current programmes.
  • Embedding project control and governance in line with Sinewave processes.
  • Designing and maintaining accurate and current programmes of work for the projects they deliver.
  • Providing project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource management, contractor management, financial management, and change management across the project portfolio.
  • Supporting the Commercial team with project feedback, recommendations, and lessons learned.
  • Delivering projects sustainably in consideration of competence, capability, and safety.
  • Conducting management audits.
  • Ensuring cross-programme dependencies are managed accurately.
  • Ensuring efficient change control methods and processes are utilised.


Requirements:
  • Proven track record of working across multiple disciplines, dealing with sites, customers, and designers daily, remaining organized and agile while working with multiple teams and individuals.
  • Maximising profitability for the business at all times, considering innovative or better practices to deliver project efficiency wherever possible.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commercially aware with a clear understanding of implications decisions may have on the overall business.
  • Good knowledge and experience in Project Management within the electrical utility industry.
  • Good awareness of electrical networks and supporting documentation and industry terminology.
  • Agile in challenging situations with the ability to find appropriate cost-effective solutions.
  • Strong organisational and co-ordination skills.
  • Basic awareness of tendering.
