Job Title: Business Development Manager

About the Role:
The Hexis Talent Ltd team is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a remote, full-time position covering various locations across the UK, with the flexibility to travel and manage your own schedule. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating new business, developing client relationships, and driving growth across multiple industries.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead generation and market research will be essential as you identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and digital channels. You will be responsible for leading and maintaining a steady pipeline of prospects, ensuring regular progress toward monthly targets. Developing long-lasting relationships with clients will be critical, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for preparing business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches, and successfully negotiating and closing deals to ensure both company and client benefit from agreements. Working closely with the wider sales team, you will support lead generation and collaborate on closing deals. You will also track your sales activities using the CRM system, maintaining detailed records and reporting on progress regularly.

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate passionate about sustainability and environmental conservation, eager to make a difference through their work. A background in business development, with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, is essential. Excellent communication skills are key, with the ability to present complex solutions in a straightforward and compelling way. Problem-solving is another critical skill, with the ideal candidate being able to think quickly and creatively when adapting to client needs. Being self-motivated and highly organized will set you up for success in managing your workload and targets. You will also need to be comfortable using sales tools and CRM systems to track leads and manage progress. A solid understanding of Microsoft Office and other software is also required.
