Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance, Dependent on Experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team at a SEN school in Ealing. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching post-16 students with Autism and other Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and deliver a personalized curriculum to individual students and groups
- Teach English and Drama to post-16 students with Autism and other Special Educational Needs
- Work with students who have complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, OCD, PDA, and other conditions
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide a comprehensive education to students
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in Drama or a related subject
- Experience working with students with Autism and other Special Educational Needs
- Experience teaching English and Drama to post-16 students
- Enhanced DBS registration and membership of the DBS Update Service
