About the Role

The Prudential Regulatory Liaison and Horizon Scanning Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the Society's relationship with regulatory bodies, including the PRA and Bank of England. This position requires strong communication and engagement skills, particularly in preparing for regulatory visits and briefings for Senior Management, the Executive, and the Board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare briefings for Senior Management, the Executive, and the Board on regulatory interactions, including the annual Periodic Summary Meeting (PSM) and regular updates with the supervisory team.
  • Assist technical specialists in preparing for key regulatory reviews, such as L-SREP and C-SREP.
  • Monitor UK regulatory developments, communicate these to relevant business areas, and track progress on new regulatory rules.
  • Respond to Consultation Papers on regulatory changes.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in financial services, particularly in dealing with regulatory bodies like the PRA and Bank of England. You should have a proven ability to communicate and engage effectively with Senior Management and have experience in horizon scanning, identifying impacts, communicating them, and tracking progress against regulatory rules.
