Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Trading Controls Project Lead to join our team in Edinburgh. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a competitive salary of up to £616.47 per day (Umbrella). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of new Trading/Supervisory controls within the Front Office Supervision work stream as part of the Trading Controls programme.

The programme aims to deliver enhancements to key trading controls to mitigate unauthorized trading risks within the Global Markets business. As a Trading Controls Project Lead, you will independently lead the delivery of new Trading/Supervisory controls through successful engagement and collaboration with stakeholders in Front Office, Operations, and Technology across multiple regions.

Your strong ability to refine and distil business requirements will enable you to produce finished artefacts that can be consumed and implemented by Technology teams. You will also manage the wider team's project deliverables with clear milestones, tracking risks, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of new Trading/Supervisory controls
  • Work with Business Partners to propose solutions
  • Chair and facilitate workshops with global/senior stakeholders
  • Manage project deliverables with clear milestones and tracking risks, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Liaise with Technology team(s) to ensure user requirements match design and build
