Senior Building Surveyor Job Description

Currie & Brown is a leading international physical asset management and construction consultancy, renowned for its expertise and experience in multiple sectors and services. We are seeking a chartered or senior building surveyor to join our Leeds office, as part of a team covering all aspects of professional and project-related building surveying across the private and public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project leaders in delivering high-quality services, achieving successful outcomes for clients, and capturing and sharing knowledge across projects.
  • Assist in managing client and project teams to deliver building surveying services profitably and on time.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Deliver accurate and timely work outputs, representing the company in a professional and diligent manner.
Requirements:
  • BSc in building surveying or equivalent.
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is beneficial.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS.
  • Experience in the higher education, local government, and healthcare sectors is beneficial.
  • Significant exposure to private and public sector clients, with well-developed skills in surveys, project management, and repairs and maintenance.
