This exciting opportunity involves acquiring land and environmental consents necessary for utility projects in rural and urban environments. You will work closely with clients, negotiating access and settling agricultural damages while advising them on legal notices affecting their operations. Our collaborative approach ensures successful solutions are reached through open communication and mutual understanding.
- Acquire land rights, environmental, and planning consents required for utility projects
- Value and settle agricultural losses associated with utility works
- Interpret legal notices and complete options appraisals for client business decisions
- Liaise between Grantors and Client Project Teams, advising on scheme implications and contributing to solutions
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in rural estate/land management, agriculture, or environmental consent acquisition
- Professional accreditation like MRICS/AssocRICS/FAAV is desirable but not essential
- Utility or infrastructure project experience would be beneficial
