**Job Overview:**

The salary for this position is £63 per day, which reflects the expertise and qualifications required for the role.

**Job Description:**

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out educational psychology assessments of children and young people's special educational needs. You will provide statutory advice in line with the regulations set out in the 2014 Children and Families Act and the SEND Code of Practice.

You will work collaboratively with parents, young people, schools, early years settings, and FE colleges to promote shared understanding of children's strengths and outcomes that support educational progress towards independence in adulthood.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be successful in this role, you must have a qualified status approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in Educational and Child Psychology or equivalent. You must also be registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Additionally, you should have a positive belief in the promotion of equal opportunities for all and up-to-date understanding of child development and knowledge of child-related legislation.
