Our client, a specialist in civil engineering and earthworks, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead their groundworks and construction projects in the North West of England.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Ensuring all projects comply with UK health and safety regulations and conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Managing budgets, negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and monitoring the performance of team members.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications and experience required include a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, significant experience in groundworks and civil engineering, and relevant certifications such as CSCS and SMSTS.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and team management abilities, proficiency in project management software and tools, and strong financial acumen and contract management skills.

Working conditions will be split between office-based work and on-site visits, with regular travel to project sites across the North West.
