Job Title: Tutor

As an Outreach Tutor with Prospero Teaching, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students who have been out of education for some time. Your role will be to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students to build their confidence and develop a love of learning.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced tutor to work with students in Buckinghamshire. As an Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to students, helping them to bridge gaps in their education and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure students are meeting their learning goals
  • Work closely with Prospero Teaching to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
