Job Summary

The Operator role is responsible for executing standard activities with precision and attention to detail, ensuring seamless compliance with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Your safety-first mindset and commitment to quality will be essential in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, embodying a Kaizen mindset and supporting colleagues in achieving a Great Place to Work.
  • Hold yourself and team members accountable for upholding GKN Aerospace's culture principles.
  • Undertake tasks in accordance with standard work and training, promptly reporting any safety, quality, or other issues to your Team Leader.
  • Exemplify a safety-first approach, adhering to GKN Aerospace's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards.
  • Understand your team's Key Performance Indicators and contribute to their achievement.
  • Become certified at the Lean Foundation level and implement at least one Kaizen initiative per month.
  • Support your team and Team Leader in problem-solving, contributing ideas based on your experience.
  • Be an active team member, promoting collective engagement and collaboration.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Safety-oriented mindset.
