Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our Industrial Refrigeration division, you will be responsible for delivering project solutions, maintenance, and service solutions that support our customers' manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for industrial refrigeration/chiller systems
  • Carry out system PPM as per contract requirements and communicate findings and recommendations to the Service Co-ordinator and Client
  • Prepare detailed reports and technical communications on work carried out and submit to the Service Co-ordinator and Client as required
  • Work independently with limited supervision and be part of a team contributing to its success
Requirements
  • F-GAS 2079 card and ammonia handling certification
  • Served a refrigeration apprenticeship or hold a recognised refrigeration qualification
  • Experience in working with HFC, Ammonia, and Co2 systems
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, and Howden
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to understand and analyse technical documents
  • Positive attitude and ability to integrate and work as a member of a team
