Position Summary

We are looking for dedicated HGV 1 Drivers for both day and night shifts to ensure efficient operations.

Day Shift Responsibilities:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Start Times: Varying (apply for details)
  • Delivery Points: 1-6 drops per shift
  • Shift Duration: 10-12 hours
  • Type of Delivery: Curtain-sided palletized goods
  • Compensation: £17.00 per hour

Night Shift Responsibilities:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Start Times: Varying (apply for details)
  • Trunking Routes: 3 locations weekly including Runcorn, Yorkshire, and Northampton
  • Shift Duration: 10-13 hours
  • Compensation: £18.00 per hour

Alternatively, night shifts may also be available:

  • Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
  • Start Times: Varying (apply for details)
  • Trunking Route: Hemel Hempstead
  • Vehicle Type: Wagon and Drag
  • Shift Duration: 8-12 hours
  • Compensation: £18.00 per hour

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid UK Cat C+E Driver's License
  • Current UK Driver and DQC Cards
  • No more than 6 endorsement points; no DD, DR, or CD endorsements
  • Availability for ongoing work
  • Understanding of the Working Time Directive and Highway Code
  • Attention to vehicle maintenance and reporting of any issues
