Job Title: Midday Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Midday Supervisor. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our children during the lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support children during lunchtime, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Ensure the safety and general wellbeing of children, maintaining a secure and orderly atmosphere.
  • Support children in developing social skills, encouraging them to play together, use their imagination, and learn to manage their own risks.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to promote high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
  • Build relationships of mutual respect with pupils and staff, adhering to the school's confidentiality policy.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and caring individual with a nurturing approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to support children with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • High expectations of achievement and behaviour, with a commitment to promoting a positive school culture.
  • DBS clearance required.

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time position, requiring 5 hours of work per week, term-time only. Training will be provided by the school to ensure you are equipped to perform your duties effectively.
