About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated audiologist to join our dynamic audiology team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical audiology, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled audiologist to take on a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth of our audiology service. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for managing your own patient caseload, supervising junior staff, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialized audiology assessments and treatments to patients across various sites.
  • Manage and prioritize your own patient caseload, ensuring timely and effective delivery of care.
  • Supervise and train junior staff, including associate and assistant practitioners, to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Audiology degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., BAAT/BTEC Parts 1 and 2).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or relevant professional body.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development, including participation in relevant special interest groups and attendance at M-level modules.
  • Demonstrated experience in working as part of an audiology team, with a focus on clinical governance and patient-centered care.
