Job Title: Test Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team at Legal & General. As a Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our mortgage sourcing and property valuation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of quality test plans to deliver the required validation of functionality via a risk-based approach to a scheduled release plan across a number of changes.
  • Work proactively with business and 3rd party testers to ensure coverage across all test stages are adequate.
  • Deliver effective and timely communication to development and change teams to mitigate release delays.
  • Provide input into defining the appropriate test approach in collaboration with the Lead Test, ensuring effective test preparation and execution.
  • Understand the principles of Business Technology and Agile Transformation within LGMS and translate these principles into business/people change activities to ensure the requirements are understood and that the test outcomes are of good quality.
  • Engage stakeholders and undertake appropriate testing prior to the implementation of any system or business changes to ensure the impact on internal stakeholders and customers is understood.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of change delivery methodologies and tools desirable along with SME knowledge of mortgage sourcing and property valuation processes, products & services.
  • A background in analysis, previous test experience and suitable project management, service management, test or agile qualifications is desirable.
  • Outstanding test analyst experience is required and a proven delivery track record of change and transformation.
  • Experience with test automation development is desirable but not essential.
