The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accountancy, either qualified or qualified by experience. This position offers a challenging and rewarding career with significant autonomy, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing statutory accounts and financial statements
- Assisting with the production of management accounts and financial reports
- Handling personal tax, corporate tax, and VAT returns
- Performing general bookkeeping duties using Xero or Quickbooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualification, or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience in a UK accountancy practice, preparing accounts, tax, and other financial responsibilities for a mixed client base
