Cloud Transformation Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead our Cloud Transformation journey at Skipton Building Society. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in migrating our infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, driving innovation, and shaping the future of our IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Work with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-level designs for technology solutions across our application and data domains.
- Collaborate with delivery and technical leads, project managers, and development & engineering teams to provide technical guidance and decision-making.
- Provide architectural governance and assurance throughout the project process.
- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture background, with experience in delivering complex and large-scale enterprise solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance, ideally within a financial services domain.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps, Git, etc.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
