OakGar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our care services, ensuring that individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behavior receive the highest standard of support.

You will motivate and inspire your teams to provide outstanding support, act as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support, and oversee the smooth running of the service. This includes rostering, support plans, staff deployment, and managing budgets.

Key Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of best practice in delivering support to individuals with different needs and a passion for doing so.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills, with knowledge of current CQC regulations and compliance within the new framework.
  • Flexibility to cover the 24/7 rota, including early mornings, late evenings, sleep-ins, and waking nights.
