A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a high-performing finance professional to join the Hovis team on a permanent basis, supporting the Supply Chain Finance Manager in managing financial operations, reporting, and forecasting processes within the London sites.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting month-end activities and preparing review packs.
  • Collaborating with site operation teams to manage costs and KPI performance.
  • Providing timely and accurate information for management reporting to generate insightful business analysis.
  • Supporting quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Business partnering with site teams across the London sites.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to join a unique business with an established brand and entrepreneurial mindset. You will have exposure to all parts of the business, allowing you to build a strong network and a solid base of experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Part-qualified accountancy qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) or studying towards them.
  • Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics, and the ability to understand both details and the bigger picture.
  • A real attention to detail and commitment to delivering high accuracy.
  • Site-based experience is preferable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Integrity and honesty.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable qualities include:

  • Previous experience in a finance supply chain role.
  • FMCG or manufacturing environment experience desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
