About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civils Package Planner to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our Devonport team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed work package programmes, ensuring timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mature programme for construction of the PSF/GPF, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Construct and maintain detailed work package programmes, including resource and cost loading for EV purposes.
  • Assimilate and interpret information from current project documentation and instructed change, ensuring accurate programme updates.
  • Input into construction techniques and buildability of construction methods, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Co-ordinate with commercial and project teams on all programme aspects relating to PSF/GPF work scope.
  • Compile concise narratives, phasing, reports, and supporting documents for input into submissions for programmes and change events.
Requirements
  • A qualification in civil engineering or construction to HND level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience and a sound knowledge of construction techniques, with a good commercial and contractual acumen.
  • A Planning Engineer looking for next career step or a demonstrable ability to develop, own, and drive programmes, along with managing sub-contractor programmes.
