Workshop Plant Engineer

Attega Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team based in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing construction plant equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and diagnose technical problems with equipment to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Perform general engineering duties, including working at height, beneath, and within machines.
  • Repair and maintain machines using lifting equipment supplied.
  • Drive and move machines inside and outside the workshop.
  • Servicing a wide variety of machines within the workshop.
  • Supervise other workshop engineers to ensure high-quality work and safe working procedures.
  • Assist in booking machines in and out, ensuring they are ready for transport collections.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment.
  • Adhere to corporate policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Ensure tools are safe and legal to use.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within the plant industry.
  • Preferably apprentice-trained.
