Courtroom Specialist

The Appeals team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality decisions on immigration cases. As a Courtroom Specialist - Immigration Appeals, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to prepare and present cases in the Immigration Tribunal, utilising your analytical and communication skills to achieve successful outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing complex decisions, responding to legal representations, and preparing presentations for court. You will also participate in a comprehensive foundation programme, gaining a solid understanding of immigration law and the Home Office's policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be resilient, articulate, and able to work effectively in a time-pressured environment. A salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) reflects the importance of this role in supporting the Home Office's strategic objectives.
