Role Overview:
A skilled Energy Trader is required to join our dynamic sales team in Manchester, focusing on structured trading of natural gas, power, and clean energy strategies for client portfolios. This involves developing innovative strategies to deliver profit while minimizing risk, working closely with portfolio managers to achieve consistent results and improve EBITDA.

About the Role:
This challenging position entails analysing market trends, identifying trading opportunities, and optimising sales and trading strategies. You will also be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, providing market intelligence to internal teams, and creating strong collaborative relationships with customers and brokers.

Your Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent knowledge of commodity OTC & Futures hedging and flow trading, along with pricing and structuring derivatives such as futures, forwards, swaps, and options. Proficiency in European Natural Gas and Power Markets is essential, with experience in emissions markets and biofuels being advantageous. Additionally, you should have exceptional commercial acumen, self-motivation, polished presentation skills, and experience implementing processes to streamline operations.
