Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Assistant Manager to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Farm Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Broiler farm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Farm Manager in maintaining correct and up-to-date records of all matters relating to birds, food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure adequate supply of all essential stock is maintained and correct ordering is carried out when necessary.
  • Work closely with the Farm Manager to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within the farm and across the wider business.
  • Manage, motivate, and train the Farm Assistant in all areas of farm operation.
  • Maintain communication with the Farm Manager regarding the performance of the crop, ensuring efficient performance of each flock.
  • Deputise for the Farm Manager in their absence, covering all aspects of farm management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Poultry Farm environment.
  • Level 2 / 3 Poultry Passport Qualification.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sound decision-making skills.
  • Computer literate.
