Job Title: Halal Certification Inspector

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Halal Certification Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our monitoring team, you will be responsible for ensuring that registered outlets/organisations comply with HMC standards in relation to the provision of Halal foods.

Main Duties:

  • Inspect registered outlets/organisations to ensure compliance with HMC standards.
  • Complete documentation in line with monitoring procedures and systems.
  • Induct newly certified outlets/organisations on monitoring and auditing requirements.
  • Liaise with local communities and outlets to raise awareness of HMC certification.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. food science, business studies).
  • Good understanding of HMC standards and certification processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English.
