Job Title: Early Years Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship
About the Role:
We are seeking a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to complete a Level 3 Early Years Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship at Phoenix Childcare as a Trainee Room Leader.
About Phoenix Childcare:
Our vision is to provide a high-quality, integrated play and learning environment that strengthens and supports the development of children and their families within the local community.
Your Responsibilities:
- Shadow the other Room leader to learn the role.
- Provide day-to-day care and support to between 8 and 12 children per day.
- Mentor and support the apprentice in the room.
- Work closely with the manager and leadership team to ensure the safeguarding of children.
- Keep up-to-date the children's learning journals.
- Undertake all aspects of personal care.
- Plan and implement the day's activities, including playing, reading, and development of children.
- Liaise with parents and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification.
- GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
- Must obtain a clear DBS.
Working Hours:
- Phoenix Childcare is open between 07:30-18:00 Monday-Friday.
- Working hours will be 35-40 hours per week.
