About the Role
Are you a social worker passionate about supporting vulnerable young people? Our Young People's Safeguarding Team is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including police officers, health workers, and psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to safeguarding young people. Our team is part of an integrated service, which means we work closely with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people. We are committed to creating a restorative and supportive environment, where relationships are built to support good outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Work with young people aged 12-18 who are at risk of homelessness or care, children vulnerable to exploitation, and those who have experienced trauma.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including police officers, health workers, and psychologists.
Contribute to the development of a restorative and supportive environment, where relationships are built to support good outcomes.
Work closely with the Youth Justice Service and exploitation service to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
Requirements
We are looking for a social worker with a sound understanding of safeguarding risks outside the home and experience working with young people. You should have a commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people and be able to work at pace calmly and reflectively. You will be joining a team that is passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact in our community.
