Senior Level Salary and benefits package
DescriptionA senior management position is available to lead a global chemical product regulatory affairs team at a global chemical manufacturing business. The ideal candidate is a commercially and strategically minded leader with a passion for chemical regulations and legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategy for product safety and regulatory compliance
- Manage the product safety testing program for all products/components
- Ensure the product portfolio is registered with all chemical safety frameworks
- Deliver responsibilities as lead registrant for REACH
- Manage large-scale programs of scientific testing
- Represent the company in external regulatory organisations
- Track global developments in chemicals regulation
- Provide guidance and direction to leadership teams
- Grow and develop the Regulatory/Product Stewardship team
The ideal candidate has knowledge and passion for chemical regulation and legislation, and is a commercially and strategically minded leader. They must be an excellent communicator, have strong influencing skills, good relationship-building skills, and be able to constructively challenge and effectively lead and implement the business regulatory strategy.
