Production Engineer for Sonobuoy Solutions

As the key engineer responsible for the success of our Sonobuoy products, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between in-service production and support. This is a unique opportunity to grow and develop your skills within our close-knit team, working on a high-profile project that requires agility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and co-ordinate engineering support to production, ensuring seamless supply chain and production operations.
  • Cover production and range failures, assessing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead on production acceptance activities through range testing, guaranteeing the quality of our products.
  • Manage engineering activities for Sonobuoy Production projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Requirements:

  • Foundation in Systems Engineering, with understanding of Software Engineering and Electrical or Mechanical Engineering principles.
  • Experience in producing engineering schedules, estimating costs, and managing risks.
  • Ability to lead development across the product lifecycle, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills, with a passion for complex engineering in a regulated industry.
